clay, gesso, oil paint, dried desert dandelions
approx 3" x 2"
These small clay sculptures are my meditations and love notes to the sweet dead Joshua Trees. Their history is rich and never ending, for when they die, they transform into portals - not only for small critters but for spirits and like company. Beside the carcasses are dried desert dandelions which call in the warmth and power of the rising sun.
