New Moon Connections
2019
ink, colored pencil, and graphite
14" x 11"
These drawings are sparked by a fantastical rock cliff at Houda Point, Trinidad, who's face is covered in pockmarks, miniature caves, and hidden civilizations. Awkward shapes hug for protection and stretch out to bare their truth as light pours through rugged arches. These darling forms yearn to touch and connect - and use the New Moon's magnetic energy to draw into one another.
